Field day at Bvumbwe (DARS & CIP) and visited by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Malawi on 8 March 2012

The Department of Agriculture and Research Services based at Bvumbwe Research Station has organized a field day on 8th March 2012. This field day was also backstopped by CIP. The Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Management, farmers, school children surrounding Bvumbwe Research Station came to the station. A number of activities carried out at Bvumbwe were exhibited, the sweetpotato section was included and it was the most colorful stand. Value additions and nutritious foods from OFSP were among others.
