Soroti Sweetpotato Producers and Processors Association (SOSPPA)
Founded in 2006, SOSPPA has 432 members, of whom 60% are women. It is a rural based farmer organization involved in the multiplication and dissemination of clean, sweetpotato planting material. We also conserve researcher starter material. SOSPPA processes several sweetpotato based products, including composite porridge flour, sweetpotato soup, donuts, half cakes, cakes, juice, crusts, and crisps.
