This is a collaborative project where sweetpotato professionals and scientists come together to share, discuss, and generate new knowledge. Our aim is to provide easy access to all the technical and scientific knowledge on sweetpotato in the world, and by doing so we will improve the nutrition and food security of millions of people.
Who is behind the portal?
The Sweetpotato Knowledge Portal is supported by the International Potato Centre, CIP, and by the
Sweetpotato Action for Security and Health in Africa (SASHA) funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates
Foundation. We add all the knowledge products we have to the portal, and we encourage you to do the
same. You can add copyright or license restrictions for the use of your knowledge on the portal, but as a
general rule we encourage the contributions should be considered global public goods where the users
give due recognition of authorship.
What can non-members do?If you do not wish to become a member you are still encouraged to use all the knowledge present, and you can leave comments for the authors or on the discussion forum without being a member. To become a member, you will first need to register filling in a small registration form. Afterwards you will be granted permissions to add, edit and publish information. |
